Praying For Your Future Spouse
Day 9: Their Faith
Mighty God, Creator of the universe, God of my salvation, I praise your holy name.
I thank you that you bless everyone with a measure of faith and pray that my future spouse would learn to exercise (his/her) faith. I thank you for (his/her) faith and pray that each day my future spouse would increase in faith. By faith, our forefathers walked with you and I pray that my future spouse would do the same, having mountain-moving faith, never wavering, never doubting, and trusting your heart. I pray that by faith my future spouse would be an overcomer, a conqueror and endure the trials of this life with joy that (he/she) be able to obtain a good report or testimony. I pray that (his/her) faith would inspire others and lead them to your throne of grace. May (he/she) use his faith to intercede on other’s behalf and wait in faith for what you have for (him/her) including me. May my future spouse always have faith in your righteousness and power. I declare in the name of Jesus and by the power of his blood that my future spouse’s faith is being perfected day by day, built firmly on The Rock that is Jesus, and that the enemy can in no way destroy it. May (he/she) have faith even as small as a mustard seed and stand firm on your promises. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Becoming The One
Now that you have prayer for your future spouse’s faith, meditate on your own. Journal your answers and ask God to reveal the truth to you.
- How strong is your faith?
- Do you easily doubt and are moved according to the circumstances of your life?
- Is your faith built on a strong foundation, on The Rock?
- How can you increase your faith today?
Now meditate on the next scriptures and ask God to strengthen your faith.
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit – Jude 1:20 NKJV
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. […] By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. Hebrews 11:1, 3 NKJV
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. – Matthew 17:20 NKJV
